History

SUPERHATEMEWORLD (also known as SHMW) was first previewed/showcased on April 22, 2018[1], showcasing some decoration, as well as the entire layout. The first version of the layout was created on the 1.9 Geometry Dash Private Server.

On April 11, 2019, The second version of SHMW was showcased[2] on IcEDCave's channel, showing the entirety of the level including decoration. 2 days after this showcase, IcEDCave had done a run of 58% - 100%[3]. About a year after this run, IcEDCave would come back to the level on March 5, 2020, achieving 43% on the level in it's unnerfed state[4]. After these two runs, the level would fade into obscurity.

A couple of years later, on September 3, 2021, a player named UFokinWotM8 (also known as UFWM) would pick up the level and achieve two runs, being 52% and 63% - 100%[5]. UFWM claimed that he will try to complete SHMW, as he got those previously stated runs within 2 hours of picking the level up. In the next couple days, UFWM would make fast progress on this version of SHMW, achieving 74% on September 5, 2021[6], and 88% on September 6, 2021[7]. Finally, on September 7, 2021, UFWM would beat the unnerfed, second version of SUPERHATEMEWORLD in 6,102 attempts[8], however, the level would remain unrated.

2 months later, on November 27, 2021, river would upload a video onto his channel titled 'my part in SUPERHATEMEWORLD'[9]. This informed the community that EndLevel and IcEDCave were hosting a re-deco of the level in it's unnerfed state, as well as buffing many parts. Many other creators in the re-deco collaboration uploaded their parts in the next couple months, including IcEDCave's part previewed on December 2, 2021[10].

On January 30, 2022, UFWM would announce that he would be the official verifier of this remake of SHMW, as well as achieving 43% on the remake[11]. He would make fast progress on the new version of SHMW, achieving 56% on February 2, 2022[12], and achieving 69%, as well as 63% - 100% on February 6th, 2022[13]. After radio-silence with the level's progress, UFWM would unfortunately announce that he would be dropping the SHMW remake due to university, and give the level to a player named declan[14].

Since declan has privated all of his Geometry Dash content, his progress on SHMW is not very well known. After declan disappeared off of YouTube and Geometry Dash, the level's verification process was stagnant for a couple months.

Completely out of nowhere, on September 30, 2022, Cursed would upload a verification video for the remake of SUPERHATEMEWORLD[15]. The level would take Cursed 9,994 attempts to verify. The level was later rated on October 11th, 2022, and was placed at #30 on the Geometry Dash Demonlist on November 13, 2022.

Gameplay

  • 0%-22% (ReaLvet) - The level starts you off as a cube, which contains tight jumps and orb timings. You then jump into a ball portal, narrowly avoiding the spikes in a tight corridor until you go up into a mini-cube portal. You're then greeted with a spam part that is one of the most notorious parts of the level. After this spam, you land in a ship portal, in which you are then met with a long straight-fly corridor with gravity and size changes.
  • 22%-40% (Doop) - This part starts off in a slow memory ball part, with fake pathways, orbs, spikes, and much more. You must find the right path and make it to the UFO section after this ball maze. This UFO section starts off with gravity changes and orbs, and ends with about 3-4 seconds of UFO spam into the ceiling. You are then greeted with a break part, with two invisible jumps underneath the word 'brEAK'.
  • 40%-48% (EndLevel) - You are then thrown into a very slow wave part, which is another notorious part of this level. This wave has very tight timings and narrow pathways, ending off with a very tight corridor with rhythmic click patterns and spam.
  • 48%-76% (IcEDCave) - After the wave, you are dropped into a tiny cube section with a late timing. You are then thrown into a very fast and tight straight-fly corridor. After this corridor, you are put into a slow UFO section with late timings, plus gravity and size changes. This UFO is followed up by a mini-cube section with fakes and a double-click. You are then met with a ball corridor, similar to those in The Hell Series by Sohn0924. This corridor requires a rhythmic click pattern to pass. After this, you are put into a tiny cube section with orb timings, followed up by another straight-fly corridor. At the end of this corridor, there is some slow and tight ship gameplay that requires good ship control to maneuver. These tight gaps are followed by a long upside-down straight-fly corridor that flashes in and out of visibility. This corridor also puts you back at 1x speed halfway through. After this straight-fly, you are given another little break as a mini-cube.
  • 76%-88% (Kallari) - This part starts out with a mini ball, with late, silent-like gravity orb timings. After these gravity orbs, you are given a little corridor, similar to the one in IcEDCave's part, where you again need a rhythmic click pattern to get through. You are then dropped into an upside-down UFO portal, where you must spam against the ceiling to avoid spikes below you. You eventually reach a ship portal, where you must hold and release depending on your gravity.
  • 88%-100% (river) - After the ship, you are put into a cube portal. This cube section has late timings, a bit of memory, and some gravity orb spam near the end. Finally, you are set into a mini-ship portal, where you fly in a very tight straight-fly corridor near the floor. After this corridor, you finish off the level going through a small straight-fly corridor.
