He is generally associated with the level Fingerdash, which he has uploaded many videos about in the past. He usually uploads videos where he does challenges or builds layouts with some twist or restriction. He also uploads occasional video essay-type videos that follow a more scripted structure. He occasionally beats Extreme Demons, having completed 51 as of 12 June 2026. His current hardest Demon is Nabil Let Go, beaten on 19 March 2026. ==History== Sdslayer created his YouTube channel on 23 July 2010, but he did not upload anything until four years later. In July 2014, he uploaded his oldest-known video, which was a one-hour loop of 'Back On Track' by DJVI. In 2015, his channel seemed primarily focused on other one-hour song loops and various level showcases by him or other creators (like Endgame by CreatorJR). His videos stayed mostly the same, following a similar trend for the next couple of years until 2017. His first video to break 10,000 views, which was not an hour-long song loop, was a showcase of every level in Geometry Dash World, followed by a tutorial on how to play the leaked version of Fingerdash found in the game's files. He would then upload the leaked song remix and a showcase of the entire unreleased level. Fingerdash, from this point on, would be a recurring theme on his channel for quite some time. His earliest public subscriber milestone video was at 5,000, uploaded on 5 March 2017, showing him smashing an old phone. His content from this point on followed in the theme of level showcases from his GDPS, one-hour versions of songs, and '___ but ___' videos, which follow the style of showcasing a Geometry Dash level, with a twist that occurs every time a certain level element appears. His most popular video follows this format: it starts on the level Fingerdash but switches to a different level whenever the player hits an orb. This loops for all levels until they all finish. He remastered the same concept after returning to YouTube in 2022. In late 2017, his content noticeably shifted to a more comedy-sketch and script-based style, with videos such as 'Geometry Dash's Creation in a Nutshell' and 'Controversial Topics Portrayed by Geometry Dash'. He also began delving into the style of 'GD animations', which were being popularised by other YouTubers at the time, such as Juniper, Jaden, and Colon. Upon the release of Geometry Dash SubZero, he focused many of his videos on the levels in the game, using them as the subjects for his videos. It likely helped boost him to 10,000 subscribers in January 2018. Around this time, he also began a series called 'Sdslayer Plays GD', which is where he focuses on a certain level theme or style and plays through some levels that fall into that genre, similar to some of his modern videos today. In December 2018, he ran an event on his channel called 'The 12 Days of Fingerdash', where he uploaded a video every day for 12 days, starting on Christmas Day, with Fingerdash as the subject or gimmick in some way. Strangely, the seventh video in this series is not public on his channel anymore, and it is unknown what the video was. He reached 25,000 subscribers in January 2019, celebrating with a small ARG on his channel. He continued his regular content through early 2019, uploading some of his more popular videos of all-time, like 'Spongebob Characters Saying Official GD Level Names'. In June 2019, he hosted another event on his channel, '70 Layouts in 7 Days', inspired by DanZmeN's '10 Levels in 1 Week' challenge. In DanZmeN's case, he attempted to build 10 fully decorated levels in only a week. In Sdslayer's case, he attempted to build 70 full-length layouts, 1 minute or longer, in only a week, since he cannot decorate very well. The event ran from 9 to 15 June. On that day, which was also Sdslayer's 16th birthday, he uploaded one of his most popular videos to date, 'ULTIMATE SYNC LAYOUT! (Verified With Eyes Closed)', as part of his 'GD Challenges' series, where the goal was to make a level with so much click-sync that the level could be completed without even looking at the game, using only the audio as a guide. The video performed incredibly well, boosting his channel and netting him upwards of 500 subscribers per day for a couple of days. After this, he continued making videos in the series but also explored other content styles. He made a video getting a Discord server to sing Revenge, a popular meme at the time, as well as a video showcasing a group chat he was part of, which claimed the world record for the longest Discord voice call. He reached 50,000 subscribers on 9 December 2019. He released his 50K sub special a little under two weeks later, which was a Geometry Dash-related song parody of the song 'lalala' by Y2K and bbno$, named 'Mana-na', detailing the rise of a star grinder chasing stars, orbs, and coins to ascend the leaderboards. In 2020, he ran a gimmick account on Twitter called '@fingerdash2020' that tweeted out the entire level of Fingerdash, one frame at a time, over the course of a year. While this was running, he continued making regular scripted and challenge videos. However, the rate of videos began to slow in early/mid-2020. He uploaded a parody of his sync layout video on 16 June 2020, followed by a compilation of unfinished layouts a month later, and then a long period of inactivity. On 1 January 2021, he posted the final video from the @fingerdash2020 Twitter account, followed by more inactivity. Throughout 2021, he uploaded some videos on the game โFriday Night Funkin', although they are all unlisted now and in a playlist on his channel. This trend continued, with minor Geometry Dash videos, memes, and showcases interspersed throughout. During this period, he completed his first Extreme Demon, Allegiance, in February 2022. He began to tread back into the waters of Geometry Dash content in late 2022, uploading 'Fingerdash LOWEST OBJECT COUNT!' in mid-August. He made an official return on 28 August 2022, with his video 'Fingedash but every orb swaps levels until they ALL finish [2022 REVAMPED]', which improves on the video with the same concept from years earlier by including every Geometry Dash level containing orbs, except for the Geometry Dash World levels. This video achieved popularity after a few days of inactivity, boosting his channel performance and making way for newer videos with more substance and personality. He followed up with an analysis of the second Update 2.2 sneak peek for Explorers in September, a video where he tried to modernize the coins in RobTop levels in October, and a video where he determined how long it would take to get every achievement in the game in November. In late December, he uploaded a video going through every hack in Mega Hack, determining how likely they were to be banned from Demonlist completions. After this, he began uploading much more frequently, around one to two times per week, instead of one to two times per month. Since then, he has uploaded many videos, mostly keeping to this schedule. Some of his more notable videos in this timeframe include a collaboration with Tride building a level hidden in the code in Geometry Dash, a video where his mom played the game, a video featuring ideas for Update 2.3, a coin placing competition featuring Vortrox, Moldy, Tride, and Wulzy as contestants, and Colon as the judge, and many others. He reached 100,000 subscribers on 11 June 2023, rounding out a four-day train of the same achievement, with Vortrox reaching the same milestone on 8 June, SikKy on 9 June, and Doggie on 10 June. As part of this milestone celebration, he opened up a new Discord server called 'The Fingerdashlands REBORN' as a nod to a previous server he owned of the same name. He was verified on YouTube a few days later. ==Levels== ;Easy Demon levels *Touchstop Tower (Featured, platformer) ;Extreme Demon levels *One5Seven (Featured) - His own 'true solo' level. ;Verified levels *Marching Band - An Extreme Demon level hosted by Chloe. ==Nominations and awards== Received 3 nominations in the The Geometry Dash Awards ;Nominations *Nominated in the 2024 Awards for Best YouTuber *Nominated in the 2024 Awards for Best Video with How Well Do GD YouTubers Know The ROBTOP LEVELS? *Nominated in the 2025 Awards for Best YouTuber ==Trivia== *Sdslayer has beaten 46 Extreme Demons, his first being Allegiance, his current hardest being Nabil Let Go. **Sdslayer has beaten Allegiance 74 times, with his latest (known) completion on 4 March 2026. *Sdslayer stopped regularly uploading Geometry Dash content in mid-2020, intermittently uploading any content with no theme afterwards, returning to Geometry Dash videos in mid-2022. *Sdslayer has uploaded 102 videos featuring the main level Fingerdash. *Sdslayer's most popular video is currently 'Fingerdash but every orb swaps levels until they all finish' with over 3.7 million views. **Sdslayer's first video after his break in 2020-2022 was a remaster of this video. *Sdslayer's oldest public video is 'Nyan Cat vs. Keyboard Cat - Which Is Better?' *Sdslayer's 50,000-subscriber video was a Geometry Dash-themed parody of the song Lalala by Y2K and bbno$. **Sdslayer's 100,000 subscriber video was a Geometry Dash original song called 'DASH ALL NIGHT'. *In 2019, Sdslayer did a building challenge where he created 70 layouts in a week. *Sdslayer's YouTube channel was created in 2010, but he seemingly uploaded no videos until at least 2014.
