Sonic Wave Rebirth is a remake of Sonic Wave. IT began as a project by Mefewe in 2016 to verify a modern, definitive version of Sonic Wave after achieving 98% on his buffed version of the level. Following Mefewe's departure from playing Geometry Dash, the level remained predominantly dormant for five years. It was later picked up by Aeden, who had the level redecorated and buffed to Top 1.
