===General===
Terminus is similar to the game ''Space Shooter: Galaxy Attack''. It requires flying a spaceship and shooting down enemy ships. Asteroids fly in the background, and stars glow. There is an option to upgrade the ship, including its defences, damage, and attack modes. There are also free customisations for the ship's colour, glass, and fire trail. Other upgrades are available with coins earned in-game. These coins are saved after a loss, but gameplay progress is not, meaning the entire level must be completed in one go.

The level itself is generally well-designed, featuring multiple mechanics and high-quality, yet minimalist, decor. The level features numerous tracks for various gameplay situations and a huge number of sound effects, creating a well-developed atmosphere. Considering all the well-thought-out details of both the gameplay and the level's visual impact, it could even be considered a full-fledged mini-game.
