Controversies

  • Lying about Tartarus Attempts: On December 13, 2021, Trick uploaded a completion of Tartarus to his YouTube channel. To most community members, this came as no surprise as Trick is a highly skilled player; however, his attempt count of merely 11,358 raised suspicions, as it had taken him over 234,000 attempts to beat a level of similar difficulty, and the attempt record, held by Luqualizer, was still 17,000 attempts. After Dice88 and a few others called him out on Twitter, he eventually confessed to lying about his attempt count. He said that when he does something cool and exaggerates, his "dumba** self" decides it is the right idea. He still did beat Tartarus legitimately, but his actual attempt count was around 26,000. The drama died down shortly after.
