Update 1.3 was an update to Geometry Dash that was released on November 20, 2013. It mainly introduced the new level xStep, which held the title as the first level to use blue pads on the regular route. It also brought about a new rank system to have users be rated on their number of stars earned by completing levels. Ten new achievements, characters, and a new difficulty called Demon were also added, including a number of bug fixes and tweaks. Update 1.3 also added stars to main levels.
