New level, xStep

Update 1.3 was the third major update to Geometry Dash released on 20 November 2013 for Android and iOS. It introduced a tenth level, xStep featuring a new gravity pad and gravity ring. Icon Kit additions included 10 new cubes. It also introduced stars, a Demon difficulty for levels, and a stats leaderboard.

Lite version introductions

Geometry Dash Lite was updated to v1.3 on 5 November 2013 (iOS):

• New FREE level "Polargeist"!
• Unlock new characters and colours!
• New achievements and rewards!
• Bug fixes and tweaks.

Trivia

• In the gamefiles for Update 1.3, there are 3 ships despite the ship in this update being uncustomizable, Update 1.4 introduced 5 customizable ships, likely hinting that these were beta versions of those ships.
• There is an Unlisted Fully Made and Decorated Block in the Game, these blocks have the same block ID's as the blocks from the clutterfunk ball, hinting they were beta versions of thise blocks.
• 1.3 Added a Minor, But Influential Change, the difficulty faces were added to the Online Level Screen.
• 1.3 is when the first secret ways started emerging.
