Update 1.6 was an update on Geometry Dash released on March 25, 2014. It primarily added the levels Electroman Adventures and Clubstep, which was the first demon level introduced in the game. Another big change was the addition of 3 secret coins to every level. Map Packs were also officially introduced, which gave 1 secret coin when completed and 2 coins if it was a Demon pack.
Trivia
- This was the first update to introduce multiple levels (the second being Update 1.9, and the third being Update 2.0).
- Electroman Adventures was introduced with 'Harder' difficulty, but it was later switched to Insane in Update 1.7.
- The Electroman Adventures sneak peek did not feature the destructible blocks that were in the finished version, and one of the columns before the ship section was slightly modified.
- Secret coins in pre-1.6 levels either modified the level itself showing features that didn't exist in past updates (e.g Back on Track and Polargeist gravity pad) or were placed remotely in the level in already possible to reach locations.
