Mechanic Downforce is a 1.7/1.8 Easy Demon by ZenthicAlpha, published on 12 July 2014. It is the second level of Demon Pack 15.

Description

[edit | edit source]

Mechanic Downforce received design updates and a gameplay extension sometime around Update 1.8.

  • 0-14%: Mechanic Downforce begins as a cube, quickly turning into a mini with confusing gameplay containing several fake jumps.
  • 14-26%: Afterwards, the player enters a UFO sequence where they must avoid sawblades with precise jumps. It ends with a corridor labelled 'MECHANIC' and 'DOWNFORCE'.
  • 26-35%: The player then enters a ship sequence where they must fly between spike decorations and structures.
  • 35-44%: Up next, the player becomes a ball and must switch between platforms with jump orbs whilst avoiding spikes and sawblades.
  • 44-62%: The player then enters a cube sequence with more disorienting gameplay.
  • 62-69%: A brief ship interlude appears with the text 'ZENTHIC'. Afterwards, the player must fly through circled spike decorations once again.
  • 69-74%: Then a simple ball sequence begins with orb jumps.
  • 74-90%: Next, a long cube sequence starts with more confusing memory gameplay; they must switch between mini portals halfway through.
  • 90-100%: Finally, the player enters a brief ball sequence before entering a ship sequence where they must fly into gravity portals before ending with the text 'THANK YOU'.
