Description

[edit | edit source]

As its name suggests, Hexagon Force v2 is a harder remake of the main level Hexagon Force and is a level in Neptune's v2 series.

The level begins with an easy, normal-speed cube section in which the player must jump between orbs, jump pads, spikes, ramps, and some gravity portals. The level continues with a double-speed ship sequence, where things get complicated as the player has to navigate narrow, spiky routes, with gravity and size changing several times. Then comes the gravity ball segment, where the player must resist the impulses to drop onto fake ramps.

After this, a second cube section follows, where the player also must help themselves with the ramps that are there and a few orbs that are there. The level continues with a tricky dual-cube section, where the player must handle two cubes at the same time, being a little different from the original level, since the manoeuvres of both cubes are different from each other. After passing that part, a dual-ship sequence must be completed, which requires mastering difficult manoeuvring. Then comes a tricky cube section at normal speed, where the player must hit many orbs, but not all of them, since some lead them through paths where they can fail. The level continues with a mini-UFO segment that must pass between structures with trapped surfaces for it to fail.

The level now presents a short, double-speed dual-ball sequence, which is a bit difficult because it requires precise inputs. Then there is a sequence of the ship that is first in dual and small, then becomes normal size and individualized, to pass the cube, which has to pass a section similar to the previous ones of the cube, since it combines what was previously passed.

Finally, the player enters a short dual-ship sequence at half speed, where they must pass a path with precise manoeuvring. Likewise, the normal-sized single ship must pass a narrow path to finish the level.
