Impulse is a 1.5 Easy Demon by MrCheeseTigrr. It is the first level in Demon Pack 8.

Description

Impulse is well-known as a very Easy Demon as well as for its frequent and infamous annoying bugs.

It resembles the style of Theory of Everything and uses the synonymous song. The level features a significant abundance of 1.4 sawblades, 1.5 spike balls and 1.5 spikes. Until Update 1.9, it was considered the third- or fourth-easiest Demon. In fact, the level is quite easy overall. The hardest part of this level is probably the last one, a cube segment in mirror mode with numerous orbs, pads, spikes, and fakes. Here, the route rises and falls, requiring more reflexes. The problem with this part is the numerous considered annoying bugs; therefore, the player must hit the orbs at the right time to avoid them. One of these leads to a troll secret way, patched with a block wall at 98%.

Impulse begins with an easy cube section, but some jump orbs need to be hit with a lot of precision to avoid bugs. Then, there is a UFO segment that is a bit more difficult, but still easy. Afterwards, the player enters a mini-portal. Here, the gameplay remains easy, and the ending resembles that of Flappy Bird.

Then there is a cube section that requires precise timing, with a rising-and-falling route, some fakes, and some bugs. Afterwards, with a weird timing, the player enters a tricky ship sequence, which is then separated into two by a cube transition. This ship part is easy and includes some straightforward flying. Then, with a weird timing again, there is a short cube segment that requires some pretty good reflexes. After that, there is one of the hardest parts of the level: a ball segment with some tricky fakes. After that is the final cube section, known for its bugs and hard timings; the level finally ends.
