Shukketsu is a 2.1 Extreme Demon collaboration hosted and published by Yuko and verified by Baeru. It is greatly inspired by kowareta, with the gameplay consisting of fast paced segments with many speed and game-mode changes. Shukketsu takes a different approach to the kowareta-inspired formula, adding colorful art and effects to block designs, which is considered by some creators as the "art-core" style. The level is also somewhat meme-themed, with text displaying community memes, inside jokes, and sayings placed into the block design.

Shukketsu began as a kowareta-inspired layout created by Gablor (then Shuri), and then was decorated by Yuko. The level's first version was released on January 24, 2020, and was set to be verified by Gablor.[1] Yuko began to remake the level in early 2021, re-working gameplay and adding duke, Lexy, and Zentraa to the project. The level was finished and showcased on September 17, 2021. The level was set to be verified by lamp86, but they dropped and the level was given to Baeru. Baeru verified the level on April 3, 2021, after around 20,000 attempts.[2]

Victors of Shukketsu such as Amza and Johnfree describe the gameplay as very tough to learn but very enjoyable afterwards. The level is expected to place somewhere in the Top 15 of the Geometry Dash Demonlist.

An official sequel to Shukketsu is in development, known as Kaikatsu.[3]
