Every End is a 2.1/2.2 Extreme Demon mega-collaboration level hosted by MindCap and co-hosted by Djoxy, verified by Hqmy on 16 March 2025.[1] The level features a 1.0-style design and consists exclusively of cube game-mode at normal speed, with its most notable aspect being the multi-layered background.

Because the level exclusively uses the cube with no pads, orbs, or portals, Every End is considered the most accessible top Demon on the Demonlist, as MindCap intended.

History

[edit | edit source]

On 15 August 2023, MindCap uploaded a showcase of Every End to YouTube, a level set to be a Top Demon accessible by everyone in the community, according to MindCap.[2] The level gained immediate positive reception from prominent players such as AeonAir and Tride, who praised its distinctive design and challenging gameplay. Although Every End was a fan-made concept, the level quickly became a topic of widespread discussion within the Geometry Dash community.

Every End initially went through a few verifiers, including ViperVenom95 and BGram, both of whom eventually dropped the project.

Verification

[edit | edit source]

Hqmy ultimately took up the project and became Every End's final verifier.

On 28 November 2024, Hqmy uploaded his first verification progress update on Every End, reporting a 61% run and adding that he had already made around 24,000 attempts by then.[3] On 16 January 2025, he got a new record of 79%, with ~28,000 attempts.[4] He published his last progress video on 6 March 2025, in which he did a 23-100% run, amassing almost 30,000 attempts.[5]

Hqmy eventually verified Every End on 17 March 2025, after ~29,890 attempts, with his worst fail at 79%.[6] In the verification video, MindCap announced that the first five players to beat the level would receive exclusive posters themed around it, designed by Djoxy as a reward.

Description

[edit | edit source]

Every End features exclusively standard cube gameplay at normal speed. It begins with simple, easy jumps that progressively increase in difficulty as the player advances. Notably, the level contains no additional mechanics, such as pads, orbs, portals, or gravity changes, and relies solely on blocks and spikes. Unconventionally, the level also includes a multi-layered background that visually reveals upcoming obstacles. Every End's difficulty comes from its abundant precise timings, unpredictable jump patterns, and endurance, since the level is seven minutes long.

The level features 12 creators, and their parts in the level are as follows:

  • Pennutoh from 0% to 9%
  • MindCap from 9% to 15%
  • LeftUnknown from 15% to 23%
  • Blitzer from 23% to 32%
  • Djoxy from 32% to 41%
  • npesta from 41% to 50%
  • Koreaqwer from 50% to 56%
  • KrmaL from 56% to 67%
  • StarkyTheSalad from 67% to 79%
  • Surv from 79% to 88%
  • lolwut from 88% to 94%
  • cobrablitz from 94% to 100%

  • Aless failed at 99.62% on 8 June 2026 after accidentally clicking too late and falling into the spikes between the last and second-to-last structures.[9]
  • Kiruu failed at 99.3% on 24 September 2026 after jumping too early into a spike structure above.[10]

Trivia

[edit | edit source]
  • Every End was rated on 20 March 2025 and placed at #4 on the Demonlist on 20 April 2025, above andromeda and below BOOBAWAMBA.
    • This addition pushed Zodiac into the Extended List after six years and Bloodlust into the Legacy List after seven years.
      • Notably, both of these levels are former Top 1 levels. A similar situation occurred when Bloodlust was previously pushed into the Extended List alongside Sonic Wave being pushed into the Legacy List following the placement of Instinct by Krazyman50.
        • Both Every End and Bloodlust use a Dimrain47 song.
  • Every End is:
    • The only rated Extreme Demon not to use any pads, orbs, or portals.
    • MindCap's second-hardest verified project after ORBIT.
    • One of only two Extreme Demons with only cube gameplay at normal speed, the other being Dump.
    • The third-longest level on the Demonlist, behind Master of Puppets and Sinister Silence.
    • MindCap's only rated level not to be featured or above.
  • There are a few levels that are inspired by Every End, using similar decoration, song, and name, but each contains a different game-mode than the cube, most notably Every Ship[11] and Every Wave.[12]
  • KrmaL's part does not contain any regular spikes and only consists of blocks and ground spikes.
  • The ground spikes in lolwut and cobrablitz's parts are different from the rest of Every End, resembling the ones from one of the game inspirations of Geometry Dash, The Impossible Game.
  • There is a remake of Every End that completely changes the point of view of the player, being played in the background.[13]
  • MindCap initially excluded Zoink from receiving a free Every End poster if he were one of the first victors. However, he later permitted it after acknowledging Zoink's excruciating feat.
  • The player Geometric Cube was attempting to beat an invisible version of Every End.[14] However, two key imperatives remain: the multi-layered background is still present; on his second monitor, Geometric Cube watches a video with click patterns and audio cues, which he follows.[15]
  • Despite Every End's 1.0-style decoration, it actually has more objects than ORBIT, which is noticeably higher in quality. This is likely due to the background, as it was made in Update 2.1 and was not optimized after the release of Update 2.2, which would likely have considerably reduced the number of objects used.
  • The placement of The Bloop on 23 July 2026 pushed Every End out of the Top 10 of the Demonlist.
