Description
[edit | edit source]General
[edit | edit source]Grand Arena Showdown requires the player to survive for 300 seconds inside an arena, enduring 15 waves of attacks, each consisting of two levels that alternate every 20 seconds.
Intro
[edit | edit source]Grand Arena Showdown begins with a cutscene, which consists of the text 'Geometry Dash' appearing, the player's robot jumping towards the screen, and the text 'ULTIMATE DASHER ENTERS THE ARENA' appearing. After that and a loading screen, the player has three options to choose from:
- Going right and muting the crowd
- Going up and entering Survival mode
- Going left and entering Endless mode
If the player selects Survival mode, they must survive for 300 seconds in the arena using the robot, enduring 15 waves of attacks, each consisting of two levels that alternate every 20 seconds. In Endless mode, this cycle continues indefinitely.

The end of Survival mode
[edit | edit source]If the player survives 300 seconds in the arena, the end screen appears, displaying the level's name and a list of the featured levels along with their creators, followed by the text 'Thanks for playing' with a heart. Afterwards, Grand Arena Showdown appears again, and tapping ends the level.
The Arena
[edit | edit source]The main Arena
[edit | edit source]The main arena features three central platforms stacked vertically, each smaller than the one beneath it. On both sides are spike-covered walls that instantly kill the player upon contact. Adjacent to these walls are three small platforms on each side, connected to the central platforms by pairs of orbs. In the background, a list of possible attacks is displayed, with the two currently active ones highlighted in red.
The crowd
[edit | edit source]The crowd at the top of the arena features numerous interesting characters that either cheer for or against the player, including:
- Various difficulty faces,
- Rattledash,
- Cube icons,
- A triple spike, possibly referencing Michigun,
- A block named Joe,
- Various items,
And many more.
The monitor screen
[edit | edit source]A monitor is located in the middle of the crowd, with four stars, one in each corner, displayed on it. Before the player selects Survival or Endless mode, it shows 'Welcome to the Grand Arena'. Once a game mode is chosen, it counts down from 3 before the level begins.
In Survival mode, the screen displays 'Survive!' along with the remaining time. In Endless mode, it shows 'Your time:' followed by the duration the player has survived so far. If the player dies in Endless mode, the camera zooms in on this monitor.
