Sakupen circles (also known as Unnerfed Sakupen Circles, abbreviated to USKC) is a 1.9 former impossible level by Nick24, verified by ad3usgmd.[1] It is an extremely difficult Nine Circles level designed to be humanly impossible, mainly due to its infamous triple-speed controlled mini-wave spam through a two-block gap. The level was initially hack-verified by then-hacker Exen. USKC later became the basis for a 2.1 remake of the same name, nerfing the mini-wave spam.

On 15 July 2025, nearly 10 years after the level's initial release in Update 1.9, Russian player ad3usgmd verified USKC after over 267,000 attempts and following an 82% choke by fellow level player totalgd, making it one of the hardest verified Nine Circles levels.

Description

[edit | edit source]

UKSC begins with a mildly challenging cube section that requires some precise timing. It then transitions into a somewhat difficult ship sequence with mild manoeuvres. A ball section follows with not much difficulty. Then, there are some mildly tricky cube jumps right before the drop. The drop is an almost impossible wave segment. There are one-block spaces and difficult wave spam. The most infamous section is the nearly impossible mini-wave spam section from 59% to 66%. This section is why the level was considered impossible for many years. A slightly less hard but still extremely challenging memory section follows the spam part. The rest of the wave is much less challenging but still requires some skill to get through. The last ship is the easiest part of the drop by far, not requiring much skill at all to pass. The level ends with a 'GG' being made out of some blocks.

Trivia

[edit | edit source]
  • Although never placed on the Pointercrate Demonlist, USKC was placed at #5 on the Global Demonlist on 22 February 2026, above Nullscapes and below Tidal Wave.
  • ROZE became the first victor of USKC on 17 October 2025, after around 45,000 attempts.[6]
    • If ROZE's attempt count is accurate, that makes it the current world record for the lowest attempts.
  • Prior to the level's verification, totalgd held the record of the furthest run on the level, achieving 82% on 18 May 2025, after over 440,000 attempts.[7]
    • totalgd's reaction to dying at 82% became a meme on social media due to how unbelievably loud she screamed.
      • Although she quit the game for some time,[8] totalgd eventually pulled through and completed the level on 12 April 2026, becoming the second victor.[9]
    • Another former world record was held by Emp, who achieved 70% on 28 September 2024,[10] but they eventually quit from playing the level.[11]
  • USKC is a popular level to play within the spam challenge community, with players such as ywuChaos, loooookkk, and PureL playing different wave-based challenges based on it.[12]
  • Exen claimed it took him 22 months (almost two years) to surreptitiously hack-verify USKC (although he staged the timeline to make it seem more legitimate).
  • Cursed called his 61% run easier than on the rated Sakupen Circles.[13]
  • The first jumps were initially considered impossible.
    • However, every single part in USKC had been passed legitimately even before its verification.
  • Builders Club created a balanced/buffed remake of USKC.[14]
  • Some top players use it as a simple wave-timing challenge.
  • There is a sequel to USKC named Recirculation. Nick24 created it after being away from Geometry Dash for roughly six years.[15]
  • Nick24 also published an auto version of USKC, which is rated Hard. The players described the auto version of the level as 'buggy' due to several bugs and glitches. The most notable bug is at 56%.
  • Diamond, the verifier of Sakupen Circles, 'verified' USKC using an exploit called 'pause buffering'.[16] This method works by pausing and clicking right afterwards, then pausing again, and so on, making spam sections way easier than intended. He uploaded the video to attempt to get RobTop to remove it. Subsequently, RobTop later implemented a patch to add a half-second cooldown after pausing three times in quick succession.
  • ROZE, the level's first victor, achieved 62% on mobile, beating the former 56% world record belonging to Skylar on 13 October 2024.[17]
