The Yangire is a 2.1/2.2 Extreme Demon mega-collaboration level hosted by Dorami, verified on 24 September 2024.[1] It is the sequel to The Yandere, and the second of his levels based on the game Yandere Simulator. The decoration process of this level took almost three years to complete.
Description
[edit | edit source]- 0-8% (Alderite): The Yangire begins with Alderite's part involving a cube sequence with some tight orb jumps, followed by two blue orbs with a black orb in between, where, if clicked, the player dies. The level then requires a few more orb jumps in two different sections. As the player carefully manoeuvres, a girl holding scissors and watching the player appears in the background. The player must then hit a green dash orb, a purple one, and then another green one as the level transitions into the next part.
- 8-14% (Partition + matty2003 + Jenkins): Partition's part starts with a few cube jumps along with changing gravity, after which are a tight and slow-wave part and some cube timings.
- 14-20% (DavJT + Yoonsr): This part starts with a half-speed ship part where the player has to hit two red orbs to reach the yellow portal, and after a blue portal and a black orb, some orb timings. It then transitions to a dual section where the player must hit tricky dash orb timings.
- 20-26% (JonathanGD): The drop starts, and the player is thrown into fast-paced gameplay and tight spaces starting with a mini-ship in which the player must skip three red orbs, followed by switches between brief wave, ball and cube sections before going through teleport portals followed by a tight UFO part and some brief straight-fly. It concludes with a series of robot jumps, requiring the player to hit two green orbs that bring them into a mini-wave. The part ends with a dash orb leading to the next part.
- 26-31% (MaxyLAND + Yoonsr): MaxyLAND's part starts with a tight wave, followed by a ball in which the player must hit a black orb. It then quickly transitions into a cube with a tight yellow orb jump before transitioning into a mini-ship requiring some fast diagonal flying, as a screaming face can be seen in the background, followed by a double blue orb jump as a cube, which transitions into a UFO requiring one jump before turning back into a wave that requires spamming. The level will then transition into a spider featuring tight passages, followed by more straight-fly. The player must then hit a black orb as a ship before entering a UFO passage with gravity portals. The game-mode quickly turns to a ball, followed by a tight cube jump to end the part.
- 31-37% (Mulpan + Spectex): This part starts with a ball jump, which will lead the player into a tight blue orb jump. Behind the player, bloody knives chase them, and a girl appears in the background. The next part features a short but tight wave that leads to another tight cube jump, followed by a tight spider passage. The part continues with another tight wave, followed by a brief cube dual in which the player must hit the black orb precisely. The player must then perform a tight cube jump, followed by a tight ball jump, then enter a short wave dual, and finally a cube dual. Then, there is a precise mini-wave dash orb click. After that, the part is over.
- 37-43% (Dorami + genoxide. + Yoonsr): Dorami's part starts with an asymmetrical cube and spider dual, followed by a mini-cube dual, after which the player must hold down on a dash orb that sends them down. Next is a precise jump leading into a tight mini-spider dual, followed by a short and spammy mini-wave. The player must then perform a short black orb jump, which transitions into a short auto, leading to a dash orb that they must click to ascend. As the player ascends, a bloody saw appears, with many words written in a blood-like fashion. After this, Dorami's part is over.
- 43-49% (Dhaner + Yoonsr): Dhaner's part starts with a few precise cube jumps, followed by a straight-fly as an eye watches the player from the front. The player must perform two orb jumps and then navigate a tight UFO passage, followed by a triple-spike jump, before flying through a curvy ship passage. Next, the player must do a tight wave, followed by a tight spider. The part ends with a precise black orb jump.
- 49-55% (Master X + Synd + Yoonsr): Entering as a mini-cube, the player will quickly get switched to mini-UFO, an upside-down mini-ship, followed by some orbs, before going back into mini, soon switching into a normal-size cube. After hitting a green dash orb, the player will re-enter the UFO. This part later becomes a mini-UFO and quickly changes to a mini-robot. As the part ends, the speed slows as the player enters a mini-wave, then transitions to the next section.
- 55-60% (Yoonsr + Spectex): Yoonsr's part begins with a quick mini-ball timing before switching into a brief mini-cube. Afterwards, it transitions into quick mini-ship and cube sections before switching into brief mini-ship and mini-ball parts. Straight after, a cube section with an orb leading into a quick wave part appears, followed by a mini-robot containing an orb timing, before going into a quick mini-ball timing. The next part is a mini-cube with a blue orb, followed by a quick mini-ship that leads into a cube timing before entering a mini-UFO that bounces into a mini-ball dual containing a dash orb, during which the game-mode also switches to a cube. The part ends with a cube timing.
- 60-66% (DeniPol + Xaro): This part starts with two green orbs in cube mode. It will then transition into a ball, requiring a timing manoeuvre before turning into a cube, followed by a robot part that rapidly switches sizes through the air. Next is a UFO timing, after which the player transforms into a ball, followed by a mini-cube, both of which require precise timing. It then returns to a ball, but as a mini one. This part leads into a quick ship part containing a teleport portal and then a cube timing, followed by a slope (similar to the end of Theory of Everything 2). It then transitions into a quick ship part, followed by a cube timing, leading to EnZore's part.
- 66-73% (EnZore + TheElectro): EnZore's part begins with a mini-cube portal and some timings with a black orb. Following this is a UFO section involving timing, accompanied by a green orb. Then, a small ship part featuring straight-fly leads into a robot timing sequence before the player is led into a dual-mini-cube-and-ball section with crucial timing. After that, there is a quick wave-and-ball timing sequence before switching into a cube that requires a single timing, followed by the player becoming a robot with additional quick timings, leading into a mini-ball part with a green orb timing, which transitions into a mini-cube featuring a yellow orb timing. Next is a quick mini-ship part before transforming into a spider, which requires precise timing. The spider becomes normal size midway before transitioning into a quick UFO timing, followed by a cube part featuring a slope and a dash orb. This part leads to the next section of the level.
- 73-79% (Buragoz + Astraa): Buragoz and Astraa's part starts with a few tricky jumps that lead to a ship, followed by more difficult timings in the cube game-mode before two red orbs and one black orb jump that will lead to a ship requiring some timing. This part will then lead to Zafkiel's part.
- 79-85% (Zafkiel7): This part starts with a half-speed ship that picks up speed near the end before entering a ball and cube section, followed by a robot that requires five clicks, in turn, followed by a difficult ship, UFO and then a difficult wave, after which the final part of the level approaches.
- 85-98% (OSIRIS + Dorami + ItsBon): This part starts with a few tricky jumps and a few tight straight-fly segments. The player then enters a UFO section with two pink dash orbs, followed by a change to quadruple speed before a dual that requires just one jump and a hold, leading to a single cube jump with a green and blue orb. Next is a moderately difficult reverse-gravity wave, followed by a cube jump that leads to a single UFO jump before reversing gravity and entering as a cube, followed by a yellow orb. This part leads to a long, tight straight-fly, followed by one last cube part that requires two jumps—the first is relatively easy, and the second and final one requires extremely late, precise timing.
- 98-100% (Yoonsrdynamix, End Screen): There is no gameplay in this section, just the art of The Yandere holding a knife, as the level's logo, along with the names of the creators of the level, scroll by. Finally, the level ends.

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- The Yangire was rated on 30 September 2024 and placed at #32 on the Demonlist on 30 October 2024, above SARYYX NEVER CLEAR and below PSYCHOPATH.
- This addition pushed Thinking Space into the Extended List and Nhelv into the Legacy List.
- The Yangire uses one song and one sound effect.
- Yangire (ヤンギレ) is a term for a person who is outwardly normal or sweet but can be angered and suddenly 'snap' into violent or psychotic behaviour or murderous episodes.
- The Yangire is well-known for featuring another death screen at 98%, showing Dorami's face with the text 'KEEP CALM AND DRINK A PEPSI'.
- Originally, the art at the start of Mulpan's section was different. Due to copyright concerns, Mulpan asked Sonmok for a new art. Sonmok agreed, which is why the current art differs from the original.[2]
- Sonmok originally made a part for The Yangire Creator Contest, but due to multiple reasons, Sonmok decided to discard his part entirely.[3]
- Yoonsr, matty2003, BurritoGamerX, Mercury, and sync made the revamp, while matty2003 did the optimisation.
- There are two former parts.
- OSIRIS' old part (95-98%) was removed from the level because he dropped his part in The Yangire after quitting Geometry Dash. Dorami later rebuilt the gameplay, and ItsBon decorated it.[4]
- BurritoGamerX was kicked from the mega-collaboration, and his part (37-43%) was removed due to manipulation, egotism and paedophilia allegations.[5]
- When Dorami announced the replacement on his Discord server, he accidentally used BurritoGamerX's full name, which was perceived as doxxing. He immediately edited the message and removed it.
- The music for The Yangire got removed from Newgrounds after Acid-Notation deleted all his music tracks.
- The Yangire was in EricVanWilderman's 12 Demons of Christmas 2024 Community Series, as Demon #4, being completed by Zeronium.[6]
- The placement of KILLSTEALER on 19 June 2026 pushed The Yangire into the Extended List of the Demonlist.
