Ultra Paracosm (Rulas)
- For the level by declan, see Ultra Paracosm (declan).
Ultra Paracosm is a 2.0/2.1 Easy Demon level by Rulas. It is a remake of Paracosm Circles and the first instalment in a series of Nine Circles levels dubbed Ultra Circles. Ultra Paracosm is considered one of the easiest Demon levels. Unlike most Nine Circles remakes, this level features a more detailed and colourful design, especially in the wave segments. It features 2.0 blocks, scale, monsters, and decorations.
Description
[edit | edit source]Ultra Paracosm begins with a relatively simple cube section, with a few tricks at the start. After this, the player transitions to an easy ship part before quickly transitioning to a brief auto cube and into the wave drop. However, unlike most Nine Circles levels, the Ultra Nine Circles levels have ten colours and look more 2.0-like and updated compared to the original Nine Circles style.
This wave is ridiculously easy and is commonly considered the easiest of Rulas's Nine Circles remakes. This wave is pretty simple, except for one part at the first dual, as the Ultra Nine Circles levels have the backgrounds decorated with the same objects as the obstacles, making it hard to tell what is safe and what is not, but this part was nerfed with a simple dual normal/mini wave. The area described uses this to try and throw the player off.
Near the end, the wave turns into a signature cube on the Nine Circles background, which is in most of Rulas's original Ultra Nine Circles levels. It is simple but annoying compared to some of the cube sections in his other levels and then turns back into a wave afterwards. Near the end, there is a ship portal. It only lasts for three seconds, but it is very frustrating because afterwards, the player turns into a mini-wave requiring spamming. After that, the player turns into a normal wave and then a cube. The word RULAS can be seen floating on the screen.
User coins
[edit | edit source]Ultra Paracosm contains three bronze coins, which are relatively easy to get, apart from the second one, which involves tricky timing.
- The first coin is located in the first part of the level. At the end of the triple-speed auto section, the player must jump, skip the normal-speed portal, and obtain the first coin where the word 'Amazing!' can be seen. This is a common addition to tricky or hidden coins in Rulas's levels.
- The second coin is located in the mini-wave segment after the ball part, right above the player. The player must make a small input to get it, as it is purposely located close to a wall that will cause the player to crash.
- The third and final coin is located in the last part of the level as a slow cube. It lies inside a fake slope the player must jump into to get it.
Gameplay
[edit | edit source]Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Ultra Paracosm is Rulas's first Demon level ever created.
- Ultra Paracosm is the first level in the Ultra Nine Circles series, the others being Ultra Fairydust, Ultra Circles, Ultra Halcyon, Ultra Fear Me, and Ultra Jawbreaker.
- Before the nerf update, if the player crashed at the dual part at 50%, the word 'Rekt' would appear. This text was removed in a further update.
- Ultra Paracosm has been updated over 15 times.
- After the last update, when Rulas nerfed the 'rekt zone' at 53%, Ultra Paracosm became easier than infinite circles, and is currently one of the easiest Nine Circles levels, along with infinite circles.
- Ultra Paracosm has ten colour channels in its wave sequence, unlike most Nine Circles levels which use four (like Nine Circles itself).
- The colour scheme of Ultra Paracosm is similar to that of Fairydust and not Paracosm Circles.
