Unity is a 2.0 Insane collaboration level by TriAxis and FunnyGame, published on 16 September 2015. The level features numerous tricks, traps, and tight spaces. It also features intricate designs. Some of the designs used include a retro-like display imitation, walls covering all sides of the screen, and rainbow backgrounds.

Description

[edit | edit source]

Unity begins with a quite easy cube section with some traps and tricks. Next, the player enters a mini-UFO segment featuring numerous moving 'balls' that can easily kill the player. It also has numerous tricks.

Afterwards, the player is still a UFO, with Tetris-themed walls. A square-shaped pulsing 'block' is seen covering the UFO. It is much harder than the first part of the UFO because of the tight spaces. After the UFO, the player transforms into a mini-ship, with a spaceship covering it. Harmful 'lasers' appear randomly here.

After the 'lasers', a loading 'bar' appears at the corner. When the bar reaches 100%, the player transforms into a wave with a rainbow background and objects coming from the ground. It is the most well-known part of the level, as it requires the player to avoid five metal bars that continuously attack them.

After the wave segment, the player transforms into an easy dual-ball segment. After the ball, there is a simple dual-robot segment. After the dual-robot, the level ends with another easy dual-ball segment.

User coins

[edit | edit source]

Unity contains three user coins.

  • The first coin is located at 44% in the first mini-ship sequence. It is at the top, marked by a Super Mario World style coin. It is somewhat difficult to obtain due to numerous obstacles in the player's path and requires some straight flying.
  • The second coin is located at 65%, in the first wave segment. It is at the bottom of a big cube. However, the player needs to make a slight movement to get this coin, then go back up. It is fairly difficult.
  • The third and final coin is located at 92%, in the last dual-robot segment. It is inside a 'cube'. It requires precise timing because there is only one block space for both robots. There is a high risk of crashing into a wall.
