walter white is a 2.1 Extreme Demon collaboration level by Renn241 and GhostVandalf, verified by iIiLaseriIi on 2 July 2022.[1] It is the first instalment in the Breaking Bad series, consisting of Jesse Pinkman, Gustavo Fring, and Saul Goodman. The level is named after Walter White, the main protagonist of the Breaking Bad television show. The level's gameplay contains fast timings, straight-flying segments, and tight wave sections. It is the longest and second hardest level in the series.

The level was originally planned to be Top 5 in difficulty, but it was nerfed and rebalanced. The level went through several verifiers, such as skzyl and Denni, but Renn241 decided to make it an open verification after the set verifiers lost interest.

Description

[edit | edit source]
  • 0-3%: walter white begins with a short normal-speed cube section featuring several orbs to hit. The player then enters a spider section after jumping through a portal with very tight timings, along with some orbs that they must hit carefully to avoid crashing into sawblades. Following the spider section is a short cube, followed by a ball section, both of which have two timings the player must make: hitting an orb after going through the respective game-mode portals and jumping over a spike at the end.
  • 3-7%: As the gameplay slows down to half speed, the player enters a ship section. They must carefully manoeuvre through tight passages lined with spikes and filled with sawblades. After hitting a yellow orb and going through a cube portal at the end, the player must jump over two spikes before entering the first drop of the level.
  • 7-14%: Upon entering the drop, the player must perform three cube timings and two ball timings before reaching a quick ship segment with some more timings. Afterwards, a UFO segment appears, featuring a cluster of orbs, portals, and speed changes to throw off the player. After performing three more cube timings and numerous mind-bending ball timings, the player must launch themself into a triple-speed wave portal.
  • 14-21%: The following wave section features three gravity changes throughout and takes place over 3% of the whole level. If the player manages to pass this, they encounter more timings alternating between the ball and the cube. A tiny effect appears at 20%, shrinking the player to mini size before quickly returning them to normal size.
  • 21-26%: The player must then perform some quick spider timings before the song briefly stops and the level decelerates. Once the level speeds back up, the player encounters a ruthless ship segment featuring tight corridors and precise orb timings. The player then gets a short double-speed break as a cube.
  • 26-34%: Afterwards, the level accelerates, and the following segment features some triple-speed cube timings with a transition in the middle featuring a tight mini-wave timing. After a couple more cube timings, there is a brief ball section, followed by some harsh wave manoeuvres and a couple of spider timings. The player must then fly through a handful of ship corridors before the level displays some more cube timings. Two ball timings follow.
  • 34-41%: The level accelerates up to triple speed, and this next section shows a multitude of cube timings, featuring many orb timings and tight jumps for around 4% of the level. Five ball timings appear afterwards, and then some UFO-based ones. The player must then complete some easy cube timings before reaching the next section.
  • 41-48%: The next section is a ball-cube dual with some tricky timings. This dual has two halves separated by a short cube transition. When the player reaches the end of the dual, they must complete additional cube timings as the level's intensity increases. The level slows down for a brief moment at 48% before resuming its quadruple-speed run.
  • 48-56%: The player is subsequently launched from a green orb into a ball segment with very precise timing. Following that, they are hurled into a UFO segment with some very quick, brutal timings. If the player finishes past this, they'll come across a ship segment with an array of orbs separated by straight-fly corridors. After that, the player is sent through a cube transition to a brief spider segment, followed by a couple of cube timings.
  • 56-65%: With some more extremely quick clicks, the player is transitioned into a ball part once more. After that, the player must time three UFO jumps before reaching another cube segment with a line of orbs, which will likely end the player's run here. If the player manages to complete this feat, they will have to traverse a wave section with some of the most ruthless space the player has likely ever seen. This section concludes with a fast cube section with even tighter timings.
  • 65-74%: The level then decelerates. While the level's intensity decreases, the level's difficulty does not. This section is introduced with a cube sequence, and the player must awkwardly time some orbs. When combined with the player's nerves at this point, this segment is guaranteed to knock the player out. The player is briefly transformed into a robot before returning to a cube. Following this, the level becomes easier as the player enters a ball sequence and is given some leeway.
  • 74-81%: By this point, the level's and song's energy has faded, and the colour palette has changed to blue and pink. The player is taken into a cube segment with some difficult timings, followed by a ship segment that switches gravity a couple of times. Following this is a ball part with some easier timings.
  • 81-88%: Following that, the player encounters a wave section that repeatedly changes gravity and size. While the base gameplay of this section is not particularly difficult on its own, many players survive it due to its late placement in the level. The remainder of this segment consists of some more awkwardly difficult cube timings carried out at a slow speed.
  • 88-94%: The level then doubles in speed, and the player must continue to perform cube timings. The player is in the air for half of this segment, hitting many different orb timings, which makes it even more difficult.
  • 94-100%: The rest of the level comprises a normal-speed mini-ship section that, like the other sections in the second half of the level, is not difficult on its own but will undoubtedly wipe out some players due to nerves. If the player makes it to the end, they are launched through a triple-speed cube portal while an arrangement of Walter White appears. Furthermore, the names of the level's creators, Renn241 and GhostVandalf, are repeatedly pasted in a vertical line on-screen.
