AyumiRenko
Ayumi, Artificial
Russia
AyumiRenko is a Russian top platformer player and the first victor of the current unrated Top 1 delightful climb. He is widely considered as one of the best platformer player skill-wise. He was awarded for Best Platformer Player in The Geometry Dash Awards 2024.
He is best known for completing top levels in extremely low attempt counts, such as his most popular video CaveOfTheScarletSky,[1] which he only took 1,179 attempts to complete, as well as completing it less than a day after release. This completion stood out the most in the wider community because CaveOfTheScarletSky was verified by npesta after 167,000 attempts and 10 months.
History
Ayumi's first video was of the level I wanna be the guy on 12 February 2024, where he got a time of 3:58.616.[2] Just one day later, he uploaded a completion of I wanna be the guy deathless after 1,186 attempts.[3]
His next hardest was the level The Abyss on 2 March 2024, with a time of 1:48:28.033 and 4,179 attempts.[4] Three days later, he completed the Top 9 at the time and former unrated Top 1 Smelvin Teahouse, after 1,212 attempts.[5]
Two days later on 7 March 2024, he completed another new hardest, this time the Top 2 at the time and former unrated Top 1 Bramble Scramble, after 3,269 attempts.[6]
He kept beating levels in the Top 20 in low attempt counts and fast times, such as his completions of IWannaKillMitzouli,[7] Maddys Ten Trials,[8] patio light,[9] IWANNAFINDSHIMA[10] and ULTRAVIOLET,[11] until he beat Ascension Tower as new hardest on 7 May 2024, with a time of 54:19.646, 13 hours faster than the verification.[12]
On 17 May 2024, he beat the Top 1 at the time Cl5u37r0ph0b1a, becoming its first victor two months after release.[13] Ayumi died 6 times at the last dash orb, over 50 deaths at the coyote jumps and took around 20,000 attempts.
On 25 May 2024, he beat Fallen, a Top 17 level, but what's notable about this completion is that it used the X coordinates of the info label option in-game, popularizing its use for alignments and consistent setups on the platformer community, until RobTop removed the ability to view the coordinates in update 2.208.[14]
On 31 May 2024, he beat the Top 1 at the time Null, but he considered Cl5u37r0ph0b1a to be harder, so it wasn't a new personal hardest for him.[15] Ayumi couldn't enjoy Null because of time pressure from 2.206 coming out soon, since the platformer community thought checkpoint saving was going to release on that update.
After his completion of Null, he continued beating levels towards the top of the list such as Free Solo,[16] the Top 1 rated at the time, Kill The Panas 2,[17] and urjum,[18] until he beat the Top 3 at the time apricot tower.[19] With this completion, Ayumi had completed the entire Top 5. He kept grinding the list, only taking between one and five days for each completion. After apricot tower he beat Nothing You Want (Top 5) one day later, in a world record time of 1:26:22.462, being nine hours faster than the verification and four hours faster than the first victor.[20]
Five days later, he beat the hardest jetpack level at the time im happy 4 you.[21] One day later, he beat the Top 6 YiiK A PostAlbertRPG.[22] The next day he beat the Top 8 troll science, with a world record time of 7:16.700.[23] Only 20 hours later, he beat his last remaining level in the Top 10 heavy metal.[24]
On 26 July 2024, he beat Super Temu Guy, which was the Top 1 at the time, but he considered it easier than Null, making its placement drop 3 places a week later.[25]
On 8 August 2024, Ayumi got his first verification The Elephants Foot, which he estimated to be around Top 3 difficulty.[26] The level ended up placing at the number 4 spot, below Null and above ECSTASIS (unnerfed).
On 20 August 2024, he became the first victor of ECSTASIS (unnerfed) after it was re-verified by the player tokei.[27] With this completion, he completed the entire Top 12.
The same day, Ayumi began playing the new Top 1 CONVOLUTION, getting really far attempts quickly. Four days later, he beat the level in only 3,500 attempts, becoming his new hardest and setting the attempt count world record.[28]
He continued beating other levels towards the top of the list such as OXIDE,[29] Crerro Kaizo I,[30] and the guards mission.[31] He also began playing The Abyss again, getting a world record time of 19:26.816, the first person to beat the level in less than 20 minutes.
On 22 September 2024, he beat every rated platformer extreme demon in the game, after his completion of the easy extreme Bouncy Ball.
On 9 October 2024, he beat Tower of Infinity deathless for the second time, getting a world record time of 3:56.129.[32] Just one day after, he got the current world record of The Abyss, with a time of 11:08.816, beating the previous world record by 11 seconds.
On 12 November 2024, he beat the Top 2 at the time Its MF Kaiji Sunday, taking him much longer than any level in the Top 10, around 21,000 attempts and fluking the last 2 jumps.[33] Ayumi considered this as his hardest achievement, harder than CONVOLUTION.
On 23 November 2024, he would beat two more Top 10 levels in a very short amount of time. The first one was the Top 10 level eve, which he would beat in less than 1 hour and 737 attempts.[34] Nine hours later, he beat the Top 9 level cell tower, also in less than 1,000 attempts.[35] One day later he beat the level ascend, considering it Top 5 difficulty. With these completions, he still had completed the entire Top 13.
On 8 December 2024, just one hour after GToast verified The Abyss deathless, Ayumi would verify Null Deathless, becoming his new hardest completion.[36] Two days later, he completed The Abyss deathless, becoming his new hardest completion.[37]
On 19 December 2024, he beat CaveOfTheScarletSky less than a day after release and only after 1,179 attempts.
Ayumi's completions slowed down a lot after this, since he started focusing on I wanna be the guy fangames instead, until on 1 March 2025, he beat his final hardest and current unrated Top 1 delightful climb, after less than 10,000 attempts.[38]
His only notable completion after delightful climb was getting a world record time of 2:40:36.067 in the level Dead Of Night.
Ayumi stayed at the top of the Platformer Rank[39], a spreadsheet that focuses on ranking the best platformer players based on their Top 10 hardest completions alone, since it's creation on 1 September 2024, until he was dethroned by the player GToast on 27 April 2025, shortly after Ayumi quit playing. On 9 February 2026, he would get pushed out of the Top 10 by the player nng.
