Level sequence

Caput Mundi is a 2.1 Easy Demon level by RoyalP. It is the first level of the Galaxy Gauntlet.

Description

  • 0-4% Caput Mundi begins with a cutscene showing a cube (likely representing the player) falling from the sky. The level then transitions into a Roman-like style as the cube, with platforms, orbs, and jump indicators.
  • 4-13% The environment around the player then appears to start burning, but the gameplay is still mostly similar. Then the player goes into a building with torches, candles, and chandeliers. The next section is a quick ship section with gravity portals. The next section shows some knifes, but it's mostly the same decoration.
  • 13-18% The next section shows the player going down a flight of stairs, which then transitions into a ball section with a library environment, with gravity portals and orbs.
  • 18-29% The player then turns into a robot with some jumps, then into a mini ball, again with some clicks. Next, the player turns into a cube, with the environment being a cellar/dungeon. The player changes gamemodes into a ball, then a cube again, then the player transitions into the next section, which begins with the ship.
  • 29-39% As the ship, the player has to navigate between spikes. This isn't a hard section, as the spikes are moderately spaced apart. Then as the cube, the player is now in a mineshaft environment, with orbs and jump indicators. The player then appears to break some boulders blocking them to transition to the next section.
  • 39-56% The player is now a spider, with orb and pad gameplay. Then as the mini cube and the ball, the player has to click orbs, until they fall into a sewer environment. with orbs and spikes. Then a cutscene shows the player going back to the surface.
  • 56-64% The player is in a forest environment, while the player also rapidly changes gamemodes: from the ball, to the cube, to the ship, and back to the cube. There are lots of jumps, so it can be tricky at times.
  • 64-74% As the cube, ship, the player has to jump over spikes, avoid saws, and time jumps. The player seems to be in a castle environment. Then another cutscene plays showing the player facing off against a Roman knight (probably an Equites gladiator). This is also the level's bossfight.
  • 74-84%

As the ship, the player has to hit a red orb, then a toggle orb, then fly up to avoid getting punched, fly up again to avoid getting swung at by a sword and hit another toggle orb to progress further.

  • 84-100%

There is another bossfight where the player fights a skeleton with armor. The player has to hit a lot of orbs to progress (mainly toggle orbs). Then the player finally defeats the skeleton boss and beats the level.

Trivia
