Crystal Essence is a 2.1 Harder level by ChaSe. It is the fifth and final level of the Crystal Gauntlet.
Description
- 0-10%: The level starts with a 0.5x speed cube section with pulsing glowy block design and spiky white saws. The second half of the part is a simple ball section.
- 11-22%: Afterward, the decoration turns a bit darker as the music picks up in pace. The entire part is a cube section with the difference of it being 1x for most of the part, but 0.5x for the last few seconds.
- 23-30%: Following this, the decoration turns even more dark as the player is in a dark crystal cave. The entire part is a 2x speed spider section.
- 31-39%: Afterward, the decoration turns bright again with color changing glowy floating structures and crystals as the music is reaching the drop. The first half of the part is an open 3x speed mini ship section while the second half is an auto cube section that turns completely black and shows the level name and creator.
- 40-54%: The drop begins and the decoration is similar to the first part of the level with glowy structures, but unlike the first part the drop is more open and it has 2 black walls that pulse to the music on the sides of the screen. The part begins with a 2x speed cube section that turns into a ship section which changes gravity twice before becoming a UFO with a lot of gravity changing. At the end of the part, there is a simple cube section.
- 55-71%: Afterwards, the player changes into a 3x symmetrical dual in which the structures are a bit different, but the gameplay is the same. The decoration features glowy block design and fast changing colors. The first half of the part consists of a cube section and a ball section. Afterwards, there is a dual wave section which is considered the hardest part of the level. At the end of the part, there is an auto 2x speed cube transition section.
- 72-90%: Following this, the next part's decoration is pretty simple with glowy blocks and changing colors. The entire part is a 3x ship section with a few gravity and size changers.
- 91-100%: The final part of the level is a 2x speed cube section with simple gameplay which switches to 1x and then to 0.5x at the end. At the very end, there is a short animation of the cube floating up and exploding into small pieces and an endscreen which shows the title of the level, the creator and "Crystal Gauntlet contest entry".
User coins
- Coin 1: At 10%, click just before the pink pad between the two small spikes on the bottom structure and quickly click again.
- Coin 2: You need 3 keys that are in a sequence to unlock the coin. The first key is at 24% where you need to click the blue orb really late, the second key is at 25% where you have to go down between the 2 pillars and switch your gravity while in the second pillar to survive and to get the third key you need to buffer click the green orb shortly after the second key to enter the structure with the key. After getting the third key, switch your gravity and click the pink orb shortly after to obtain the coin.
- Coin 3: At 72%, click the toggle orb in the black cube transition. Then, at 92%, click the yellow orb really early to make it above the structures and do the short gameplay section on top of the structures.
