Geometry Smash controversy
On 27 March 2024, Denni announced on Twitter that he had teamed up with KaiGuy to run a Geometry Dash training course in order to help players improve their skill within their wished aspects of the game. KaiGuy released an hour-long video on his YouTube channel explaining Geometry Smash.[1] The course was meant to cost $20 for the first few days following its release, and to later be raised to $50.
The course was heavily criticized on Twitter as many people believed there was no reason for the course to not be without charge, as well as for KaiGuy's involvement, as he is known within the community to run crypto schemes. The course was also criticized for the Q&A answers KaiGuy had set up for the course and gave answers to in his video, such as "Am I too young to join?" and "How do I convince my parents?", leading many people to believe the course was trying to deceive children into giving KaiGuy and Denni money.
Following the controversy, Denni released a rap song featuring Trick on 31 May 2024, titled "Ill Informed" in which they defended the course and spoke against the people that criticized it. The song was poorly received and scored a 1/100 rating on Album Of The Year's website.[2]
