Ominous is a 2.0/2.1 Normal 3* level created by Hyenada. It is the second level in the Shadow Gauntlet.
Description
- 0-27%: The level starts out with a dark section with various cube jumps on platforms and over spikes. The gameplay then becomes a robot, with more jumps over platforms. During this section, the words "Everything happens for a reason" slide across the background.
- 27-37%: The level fades to black, then becomes a ship section with pyramids in the background. The player simply needs to avoid pillars on the top and bottom of the screen.
- 37-46%: The gameplay changes back to cube for a few jumps over spikes on platforms.
- 47-61%: It then speeds up for a UFO section where the player must avoid various obstacles. There are many slopes in this section to help the player.
- 61-75%: The gameplay then becomes a cube again and contains a lot of jump pads and only a few jumps.
- 75-100%: The gameplay slows down slightly for a ball section with various jumps and orbs, then a UFO where the player must avoid saws and spikes, then a ship section with various obstacles, then finally ends with a robot, where the level and creator name are shown.
User coins
- Coin 1 (13%): During the cube section, the player simply has to drop down onto a lower platform with the coin instead of jumping above.
- Coin 2 (58%): This coin is inside a block in the UFO section. The player simply has to enter through the fake left side of the block to collect it. There is a slope that helps center the player in the block.
- Coin 3 (69%): During the cube section, the player has to jump precisely over a spike instead of falling down onto the jump pads.
