Template:Infobox Player Rori (Roria in-game) is a skilled South African-American 240Hz player in Geometry Dash. He has beaten levels such as Tartarus, The Golden, Zodiac, Crimson Planet, Bloodlust, Lucid Nightmares, Kowareta, Deimos, Arctic Lights, Visible Ray, Ragnarok, and Plasma Pulse Finale. This is currently the longest consecutive streak of the hardest Demons on the Official Demon list completed without the use of the FPS Bypass, tied with Surv for the third-longest such streak ever. It should however be noted that Surv completed his achievement on 144hz, whereas Rori did so with substantial FPS and refresh rate boosts. He is currently #16 on the Stats Viewer, above GDount (#17) and below TheUltraBlock (#15), but is slowly falling from the list due to his lack of high inactivity and general decrease in skill.

Rori beat Tartarus on April 1, 2020. Due to the date of the completion, many people thought it was an April-fools joke, but it turned out to be a legitimate completion. Despite four 97% deaths at the final wave segment, it took him 27,749 attempts to finally beat the level. Since there were only 4 victors at the time, it was considered the lowest attempt count. Crisis however completed the level in little over 22,000 attempts.

Rori was the set verifier for Riot's super buffed Sonic Wave remake, Sonic Wave Infinity after both Technical and Mycrafted dropped the verification. Due to a lack of progress on the level, he was booted out of the verification and it was transferred to Xanii, who verified the level on May 30, 2021.

Following this event, he went completely inactive. He has not completed a major level in more than 11 months, despite his now failed and controversial efforts at the time to receive wealth and fame simply for his handful of level completions at the time. [1] [2]

History

On November 9, 2019, he verified Renevant by Nikroplays, the Extreme Demon sequel to Allegiance.[3]

On March 13, 2020, Rori achieved 97% on Tartarus, crashing at Salaxium's final wave segment,[4] similar to what Mullsy did. Only Dolphy and Sid125 have had a worse death on the level, as they crashed at the second-last ball-timing at 98%. Rori would also end up crashing at 97% a total of four times before beating the level.

Rori has recently stated that he is bored of Geometry Dash and that he'd planned to beat Tartarus as his final achievement in the game, which he did on April 1, 2020. So far, he has not followed through with quitting the game.

On May 25 (uploaded on May 30), Rori completed The Golden as his second hardest Demon ever beaten.[5] However, he says that he personally finds The Golden to be harder than Tartarus.

On August 19, Rori achieved a run of 61-100% on the newly finished Sonic Wave Infinity using high FPS bypass.[6] He soon after abandoned his verification without notifying the level's creators, resulting in the verification being given to Xanii.
