Wasureta

Wasureta (忘れた) is a 2.1 ExtremeDemon mega-collaboration hosted, verified, and originally published by Crazen, later being republished by Augi with the 'verification' by DTDom.[1] Augi's friend Vapor later reverified the level for a bugfix update on 17 April 2021.[2] Later, on 31 May 2021, Wasureta was transferred from Augi's to HelpegasuS' account due to Augi feeling guilty about keeping Wasureta on his account.[3]
While being Medium in length, the level is quite difficult according to the Demonlist, being slightly easier than Plasma Pulse Finale and Ouroboros. The level was originally supposed to be a challenge for Crazen, but he extended it to a full layout (which he verified on 14 August 2019). He then got a team of decorators to decorate it and verified the decorated version on 27 May 2020.[4]
On 19 October 2020, Wasureta was unrated on Crazen's account due to him getting exposed for paedophilia and promptly moved to the Legacy List. Shortly after, one of the collaboration participants, Augi, uploaded the level to his account, where it was rated minutes later. The level was then re-added to the Demonlist at its former place of #21 but listed as created by Augi. Afterwards, several players, such as rori,[5] thought it was wrong that Augi stole the level without permission.
Gameplay
- 0-15% (Lime): The level starts with a half-speed mini-cube featuring tight timings. It then becomes a mini-ship with some moving spike blocks to build straight-flying. After this, the game-mode becomes a mini-cube again but is a bit shorter and easier than the first cube. Next is a short upside-down straight-fly and some brief ball timings. Then, the level transitions into another brief straight-fly and two cube timings. Finally, the player must do a ball segment with moderately difficult timings and then one green orb timing in the cube game-mode.
- 15-18% (Deadlox): This part is simply an automatic section. The player must travel over three 'stairs' without clicking; otherwise, they will die at the end of the part. The player can see the word 'Forgotten'.
- 18-37% (HelpegasuS): The level then goes into a series of spam-based gameplay at quadruple-speed. The game-modes constantly change into a ball, UFO, ship, wave and cube. There are also various timings and bright flashes to add to the difficulty. This part then ends with a very tight dual-wave spam.
- 37-57% (Augi): This part starts with a brief cube section featuring moderately difficult timings, and then the player must do two UFO jumps, leading into two very brief straight-flying sections. Next, the player jumps into a UFO with a black orb, advancing into a jump that leads into a ship with a decently tight straight-fly. The player then must spam three orbs leading into a sloped straight-fly. After a brief cube segment and a brief UFO segment, the player now must spam in a wave section, which quickly turns into a mini-wave. Next are four UFO timings, and finally, the part ends with a fading straight-fly section.
- 57-66% (Isane): The next part instantly begins with a jump into a black orb that leads into a green orb, followed by two ball clicks. Immediately after the two ball clicks, the player must perform spam-clicking in the wave game-mode to enter the cube segment ahead. This cube segment is brief and contains a single green orb leading into a UFO section. This UFO section has a single blue orb leading into a brief straight-fly. Directly after the straight-fly, the player must do some fairly precise mini-wave clicks before being sent up by a pink pad in the cube game-mode. The pink pad leads into a blue orb, which then leads into a red orb in the ball game-mode. Then, after two ball clicks, the player finally gets into brief wave spam before being sent off into the next part.
- 67-77% (XLSpiral): This part begins with a bit of cube-based orb spam leading into a UFO black orb timing, leading into a very brief straight-fly. The game-mode then turns back into a cube with a blue orb timing and a black orb timing. Then, the game-mode becomes mini-UFO, and the player must do two jumps into a decently tight wave segment. Next are some difficult but synced orb timings in the cube game-mode. The part ends with dual-mini-wave spam and mini-wave timing not in the dual game-mode.
- 77-96% (El3cTr0): Finally, Wasureta ends with El3cTr0's part. Immediately, the part begins with the player being launched by a blue orb that leads into a yellow orb and then into a black orb. Following this, the player becomes a ship and must hold onto a blue orb to get through a decently tight spike sequence. Then, the player becomes a UFO, and they must instantly jump into a black orb and immediately jump into a yellow portal with a yellow orb inside it. This UFO section ends with a pink dash orb. Afterwards, the player turns into a wave, and they must spam-click until they reach another pink dash orb. Following this, the player becomes a mini-cube, and they must fall into a blue orb and proceed to become a dual for a very brief moment. One cube must hit a black orb, and the other must hit a pink dash orb. Then, the player does a series of swift clicks -- the first one being a precise UFO click, the second one being a tight red orb click, the third one being a less tight wave click, the fourth one being an extremely brief straight-fly and the fifth one being a green orb timing. After the series of clicks, the player must perform two fast dual-wave clicks followed by a single pink orb click in the ship game-mode. Then, after a UFO timing, the player gets sent into a green orb timing in the cube game-mode, followed by two UFO timings, a fairly long ship section with a single green orb timing and a very infamous green orb timing.
- 96-100% (Splash + Belonzik, End-Screen): The end-screen features a purple-glowing background with the level name in an elegant font right in front of it. In the bottom right-hand corner is the Japanese (hiragana) translation of the title of the level, Wasureta.
