Voltage is a 2.1/2.2 Extreme Demon collaboration level hosted by Phantom7Ks and created by the members of The Purgatory, published on 17 January 2026.

Voltage's theme centres on electricity, lightning charges, and machinery, and its decorations shine in stunning yellow and orange colours. It is one of the hardest sync levels in the game, meaning that despite many difficult inputs, players can be very precise by listening to its music to execute them.

After its verification by maybee on 17 January 2026,[1] Voltage was rated on 2 February 2026 and was placed at #29 on the Demonlist on 1 March 2026.

Description

[edit | edit source]
  • 0-12%: Voltage begins with a double-speed UFO sequence. As a UFO, the player must manoeuvre through electrical pillars that sometimes burst with lightning. All inputs require precision and sync with notes of calm, melancholic music. The overall colouring of this section mixes the dark background with yellow, glowing structures.
  • 12-23%: Now, with the level being a little dimmed, the player-controlled ship must precisely hit all the orbs and avoid crashing into spikes closing in from the top and the bottom. Then the level's speed increases slightly, and the decoration brightens and gets shaky. The player must execute precise and rapid timings on the orbs and structures on the opposite sides as a ball.
  • 23-36%: The extremely difficult spider section begins with really demanding orb timings. The robot section follows, with the player having to time the jumps almost perfectly. Then, the cube is thrown into a sawblade corridor with a difficult timing, and the level's name appears.
  • 36-58%: The drop begins. The music gets more intense and heavier; lasers and lightning strike the gameplay, and the foreground pulses to the music's beats. A mishmash of game-mode changes strikes the player, who can no longer rely on music to do jumps and orb inputs in the incredibly tight space with barely any room for error. The level calms down a bit at 53%, with the ball committing fairly difficult inputs.
  • 58-100%: This section is filled to the brim with near-frame-perfect cube and robot timings, alongside size portals, gravity orbs, and flickery decoration that by far make it the hardest part of the level. In the last bit of the level, the player turns into a UFO and, using three dash portals, must fly between the spikes, completing the level.
