Roadbose (also known as road, roadjunior, or roadkiller) is a South Korean player, level creator, and former hacker. He became famous for his hacked level ICE Carbon Diablo X and for creating brutally hard and impossible levels. He was around from Update 1.3 until he quit in early Update 1.9. He returned to the game in early 2025 under the name roadjunior (formerly TheRealZust). He began completing some of his old unfinished levels, such as ICE Carbon Diablo X. He also now dedicates his new projects to his roadkiller account.

Levels

[edit | edit source]
Hard levels
  • Daydreaming (Featured, on the roadkiller account)
  • Lightning Factory 2 (Star-rated, on the roadjunior account) - The third level in the 'Lightning' series.
Harder levels
  • Lets Go KOREA (Star-rated, on the roadjunior account) - Roadbose's first level. The level is fairly straightforward for its time, but it has some trolls that can throw the player off.
Insane levels
  • dystopia (Featured, on the roadkiller account)
  • LIGHTNING Jumper (Featured, on the roadjunior account) - The first level in the 'Lightning' series.
Easy Demon levels
  • cineribus (Featured, on the roadkiller account) - A core-and-gothic-styled level created in the 1.9 Geometry Dash Private Server (GDPS), inspired by the creator GrenadeofTacos and levels such as Freedom19, Paradiso, Fallen World, and Alloycore.
Medium Demon levels
  • aoiro (Featured, platformer, on the roadkiller account)
  • Extreme super world (Featured) - One of Roadbose's easiest Demons. Roadbose was working on an update for this level with 1.6 decoration, but he never finished it. The current version is the third version, updated in Update 1.8.
Hard Demon levels
  • RoadCore (Featured, on the roadkiller account) - A core-styled level created in the 1.9 GDPS, verified by RoflGD.
  • Super Of Everything (Featured) - A level made around Update 1.6. It is known for its insane memorisation and timings. This level was made semi-impossible in Update 2.1 due to changes to portal physics, which caused the player to die at 98%. This bug can be passed by turning off Smooth Fix or by setting the graphics to 1280x720.
Insane Demon levels
  • ICE Carbon Diablo X (Featured) - The third level in the 'ICE Carbon' series. Formerly an Extreme Demon, it was originally placed #1 on the Demonlist and initially thought to be impossible because of its straight-flying and tight ship sequences. However, Riot eventually beat the level and said it was not as hard as Cataclysm. On 28 September 2017, it dropped out of the Demonlist and entered the Legacy List.[1]
    • The currently-rated and well-known version of ICE Carbon Diablo X is an updated version. A reupload of the very first version can be found on the profile of Compendium (PlayerID: 20417551) with the level ID 51079609.
  • ICE Carbon Zust (Star-rated, on the roadjunior account) - The first level in the 'ICE Carbon' series. It is a remake of Ice Hell Cave by Small. The level originally had a secret way at 46% that allowed the player to skip a chunk of the level, but after the creator's return in 2025, it was removed.
Extreme Demon levels
  • chrome hearts (Epic, on the roadkiller account) - A core-styled level created in the 1.9 GDPS, inspired by GrenadeofTacos, ssyt, and Archeron, verified by Sangalchi. It is the final level to the ICE Carbon series.

  • Demon Fantasy
  • Heaven And Hell - An infamous 1.4 former-impossible level that features several straight-flying sections and two-block-wide blue orb spam corridors. It used to have a secret way that was achievable by decent players. The level is still on the server, but the secret way was removed because a hacker updated the level. Seemingly random invisible objects were added as well, along with a ball timing being nerfed.
    • The player and creator KeiAs is the only person with a recording of a legitimate completion of the rated version of this level using the secret way.[2]
    • The level was rated from January 2014 to somewhere between 7 February 2015 and 4 April 2015. The exact date of its unrate is not confirmed.
    • This level is a remake of hell and heaven by Pis.
    • This was one of the first levels to be deemed impossible.[3]
      • The original rated version was beaten legitimately by Tuggy on 12 July 2021,[4] and set a new record for the longest time between a level being published and beaten.
    • It is the oldest known level to include blue orb spam in the way that it was used in the level.
  • ICE Carbon Chaos - The second level of the 'ICE Carbon' series made in Update 1.5. The difficulty of this level is considered to be about the same as ICE Carbon Diablo X's difficulty. The level was previously deleted due to its poor reception and lack of recognition. It has now been restored from memory and reuploaded to the servers on 22 March 2025.

The level was likely Roadbose's hardest level; however, it has been deleted, and only the first few seconds were properly restored. This level and his part in Inevitable Doom were his only 2.0 creations. It has now been restored from memory and reuploaded to the servers on 9 July 2025, and verified by Zen0x50 on 14 March 2026.[5]

Trivia

[edit | edit source]
  • Roadbose was a member of the Geometry Dash World (GW) forums.
  • In the comment section of Roadbose's uploaded video 'Extreme Super World', there are many comments from people who do not believe that the YouTube channel is the real Roadbose.[6]
    • The video of unnerfed Silent clubstep does contain a single comment regarding that topic.[7]
  • In the comment section of the uploaded video of Extreme Super World on that channel, Roadbose claimed that he has beaten ICE Carbon Diablo X in 15,000 attempts.[6] However, this turned out to be false, as the level was hacked.
  • In 2019, the user Zenos recreated two of Roadbose's levels (Back On Track S and Demon Cycles) on his own private server named ZenosGDPS (this server is now shut down). The user cypercyp (Player ID: 89793882) reuploaded the levels to normal Geometry Dash, and they are now on iiiEvnosiii's account.
  • The user iiiEvnosiii (Player ID: 91602477) restored and uploaded 50 deleted levels.
  • The user Compendium (Player ID: 20417551) uploaded nine of Roadbose's deleted levels, restored by Stormfly, including ICE Carbon Demon X.
  • The roadkiller account was thought to be an impersonator for several years before Roadbose confirmed its legitimacy in 2020.
  • Roadbose has reuploaded some of his deleted levels onto his account since he came back to the game in February 2025. The reuploaded levels in order are THE DEMON K, THE CoNSOL, THE ConSol V2 RS, ICE Carbon Chaos, Super Hell Park, bosque peligroso, ClutterFunk S, Back On Track S, Clutter Fun, RoadMc2 400 Star, Back On Track EASY, ICE Carbon Titan X, and Lets Go Korea V2.
  • On 17 August 2025, Roadbose legitimately completed ICE Carbon Diablo X after over 11 years since he initially hack-verified it, making it by far the longest time between a player hack-completing a level and then legitimately completing it.[8]
