Mycrafted is a retired Japanese-American player and level creator. He has beaten the previous top five hardest Demon levels in the game, namely Zodiac,[1] Crimson Planet,[2] Bloodlust,[3] Lucid Nightmares,[4] and kowareta.[5] He was the first and only player to have completed all said levels on 144Hz.
Before completely going inactive, Mycrafted tried to beat the former Top 1 level Tidal Wave, on which he achieved a best of 52%.[6] That video was his last uploaded one.
History
[edit | edit source]Mycrafted joined YouTube on 7 August 2014. Over two years later, on 31 October 2016, he uploaded his first-ever Geometry Dash video, which showed him beating Ebb by SirHadoken.[7] The next day, on 1 November he completed the Easy Demon Fusion Bolt by Skitten.[8]
On 27 July 2017, he beat Blade of Justice after around fifteen deaths at the UFO segment.[9]
On 12 August 2019, he completed Zodiac in 39,809 attempts for his hardest Demon.[10]
On 13 February 2020, Mycrafted beat Tartarus as his new hardest Demon in 42,599 attempts as the second victor.[11] It is his most notable achievement, as the level was #1 on the Demonlist at the time. On 29 February 2020, he beat Cognition after four days in 16,148 attempts on 240Hz, and around 9,000 attempts on 144Hz, becoming its third victor.[12] On 14 March 2020, he beat Renevant in 14,549 attempts on 240Hz, and around 9,000 attempts on 144Hz.
On 23 July 2020, he announced that he would retire from Geometry Dash, pointing out his boredom with the game.[13] However, he would return on 22 August 2020.
On 12 September 2020, he beat The Golden.
After 2 August 2021, he permanently quit playing Geometry Dash and moved on to playing Rocket League.
After the release of Update 2.2 on 19 December 2023, Mycrafted returned to Geometry Dash and completed the new official level Dash.[14]
On 20 March 2024, he revealed he is going for Tidal Wave. He currently has a record of 52% and runs of 55-100% and 38-90%.[15] As of 2026, he has been inactive ever since uploading his best run on the level.

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Many skilled players use Mycrafted's icon and color set.
- Mycrafted had a record of 97% on Kenos due to a buggy end part until 14 September 2020, when he finally beat it.[16]
- Mycrafted accidentally exited out of Crimson Planet at the very end of the level, which he later proved was auto. What he was trying to do was to unmute himself so that his reaction could be heard.[17] He later posted a video showing that it is impossible to die from where he exited and onward, so he technically beat the level.[18] The achievement was rejected as completion by the Demonlist moderator team, as the player must finish the level to qualify as beating it. He rebeat the level on 14 March 2020.[19]
- Mycrafted verified Zeroya's Extreme Demon mega-collaboration level Ethereal Artifice.
- After Technical dropped Sonic Wave Infinity, the verification was passed to him. He would eventually drop the verification because he stated he had lost interest in the game. The level then went to rori and then Xanii, who verified the level on 30 May 2021.
- Mycrafted was the verifier of The Apocalyptic Trilogy after Sunix dropped it, but he would later drop the level as well. Later, the level would pass to Crazen, who later announced he dropped the level due to losing interest in it. The verification was then passed to Toka, but he later dropped it. It was then passed to Trick, who dropped it after causing drama by superbuffing the level and then rarely playing it. It is currently being verified by polterghast in a nerfed Top 35-difficulty state. Polterghast has achieved a current best of 81%.
- According to Mycrafted, on the completion attempt on The Golden, the only reason he was good was because of his grip.
