Stage Mix is a 1.6 Hard level by Nakatoshi. It is the second level of the Power Pack. It is a mix of sections from the first seven official RobTop levels.
Description
[edit | edit source]All gameplay in this level comes from RobTop's official levels.
- 0-11% (Stereo Madness): Stage Mix begins with the beginning section of Stereo Madness. It consists of simple spike jumps and a staircase, then has jumps over spikes on platforms before another staircase.
- 11-20% (Back On Track): The level continues into the beginning of Back On Track. It contains yellow pads and jumps over spikes, ending with three jumps over yellow pads.
- 20-41% (Polargeist): The level contains a very large part of the beginning of Polargeist. It starts with jumps on orbs, then continues with jumps on platforms and over spikes. The section ends with a chain of three orbs.
- 41-63% (Dry Out): The level then transitions into most of the beginning of Dry Out. It contains harder spike jumps and jumps on various platforms. The section ends with jumps high in the air on thin platforms. The song's drop occurs during this section, but it does not sync with anything notable.
- 63-78% (Base After Base): The level becomes Base After Base, starting with simple spike jumps and turning into jumping on midair platforms. This section also contains a few orbs and pads.
- 78-90% (Can't Let Go): The beginning of Can't Let Go consists of many quick jumps on pillars and platforms, including some relatively precise ones between spikes
- 90-100% (Jumper): The level then becomes the beginning section of Jumper, which consists of jumps across various pillars. The level ends with a yellow orb.
Gameplay
[edit | edit source]Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Stage Mix exclusively uses the cube game-mode, as it only contains the beginnings of the RobTop levels.
- This level has the same name as another Map Pack level, which is also a mix of RobTop levels. However, this one is significantly different, as it uses only the beginnings of the levels and the cube game-mode.
- Some of the gameplay is slightly altered from the original levels. For example, several platforms in the Stereo Madness section are shorter, and the missing spike in Base After Base was filled in. There is also a random pink pad at 96% in the Jumper section.
- Nakatoshi made a sequel to Stage Mix called 'Stage Mix Part 2' (ID 1488577) that contains levels 8-15.
