Stage Mix is a 1.5 Hard level by iDontExist. It is the second level of the Morph Pack. It is a mix of sections from the first 11 official RobTop levels.

Description

[edit | edit source]

All gameplay in this level comes directly from RobTop's official levels.

  • 0-8% (Stereo Madness): Stage Mix begins with the beginning of Stereo Madness. It consists of simple spike jumps and an easy staircase.
  • 8-14% (Back On Track): This section comes from near the beginning of Back On Track. It consists of jumps over yellow pads, followed by some simple jumps over spikes.
  • 14-19% (Polargeist): This is a short section from the beginning of Polargeist. It is very short, consisting of only a few jumps with jump orbs.
  • 19-26% (Dry Out): This section comes from partway through Dry Out. It simply consists of jumps on block platforms.
  • 26-34% (Base After Base): This is the drop section with the black background from Base After Base. It consists of various jumps in the air across thin platforms, ending with a downward staircase. Despite the level's song being Base After Base, it uses a different part of the song than in the original level.
  • 34-48% (Can't Let Go): At the drop of the song, the gameplay becomes the ship part from Can't Let Go. It consists of dodging clusters of spikes on the ground and ceiling, as well as various pillars and floating obstacles.
  • 48-56% (Jumper): The gameplay becomes the cube again for a part near the beginning of Jumper. The player enters a gravity portal and has to jump onto pillars while upside down.
  • 56-64% (Time Machine): The player returns to normal gravity again and enters a mirror portal for a section partway through Time Machine. The player has to perform precise jumps over triple spikes while reversed.
  • 64-81% (Cycles): The screen flips back to normal, and the player becomes the ball for the first ball part of Cycles. It consists of jumps between the top and bottom of the screen to avoid pillars, followed by jumps across various platforms, and ends with a tighter tunnel where the player must avoid spikes.
  • 81-89% (xStep): The player becomes a cube again for a part close to the end of xStep. It contains blue pads and multiple fake floors and pads that must be avoided.
  • 89-100% (Clutterfunk): The player then becomes a ship for the first ship part of Clutterfunk. The player must avoid many clusters of spikes floating in the air.

Trivia

[edit | edit source]
  • Despite being released near the end of Update 1.5, Stage Mix does not contain a part from Theory of Everything. The level also does not contain a mini portal, even though mini portals were the main feature of Clutterfunk.
  • This level has the same name as another Map Pack level, which is also a mix of RobTop levels. However, this one is more varied, as it uses different sections from RobTop's levels rather than just the beginnings, and it includes multiple game-modes.
