Wolvez (WolvezW in-game) is a Swedish player, known for his quick completions of some of the hardest levels in the game, including Tartarus,[1] Sonic Wave Infinity,[2] Trueffet,[3] The Golden,[4] Zodiac,[5] and Kenos.[6] He has a YouTube channel with over 12,000 subscribers where he posts his Extreme Demon completions.

Wolvez was the former verifier of Riot's Extreme Demon mega-collaboration Acheron, on which he achieved a record of 96% before dropping the level on 7 April 2022, due to his worsening health caused by anaemia, leaving him with a lack of energy. Zoink verified a buffed version of Top-1 difficulty on August 23, 2022.

Wolvez also became the person with the most Extreme Demons completed in the game, following his completion of Aurorae on 24 December 2022, which marked his 373rd Extreme Demon completed. On 9 October 2023, he reached 500 completed Extreme Demons after beating Fever Dream.

History

Wolvez joined YouTube in 2015 but did not post any videos until 25 February 2019, when he uploaded his completion of the Easy Demon Extinction by Haon. He continued uploading a few level completions, but on 15 December 2019, he posted his completion of the Extreme Demon Sakupen Hell. He has stated that his first Extreme Demon was Cataclysm, and he posted the completion on 24 January 2021. However, Sakupen Hell was his first Extreme Demon completion posted on YouTube.

Nearly two months later, on 11 February 2020, he completed aftermath, and on 7 March 2020, he completed Glide. On 25 March 2020, he completed Bloodbath.

A mere three days after his victory over Bloodbath, his first major achievement would come, gaining him a large amount of recognition. On 28 March 2020, Wolvez would beat Kenos, becoming the fourth victor (excluding npesta). Kenos, at the time, was considered the third hardest Demon in the game. It took him 31,253 attempts.

After Kenos, he went on to beat Red World Rebirth on 8 April 2020, and four days later, he would rebeat Sakupen Hell, as his original completion was rejected from the Demonlist. On his Twitch streams, with 35k channel points, one can redeem a rebeat of Sakupen Hell or Bloodbath, showing his insane skill, as he usually does in less than 50 attempts, once even beating Sakupen Hell twice in a row.

On 23 April 2020, Wolvez would die at 96% on Zodiac due to a lag spike. It was, at the time, the second hardest Demon. He would take a break from Zodiac to beat Astral Divinity on 4 May 2020, Auditory Breaker on 18 May 2020, and Annihilation Nation on 19 May 2020. On 26 May 2020, he would complete Sonic Wave in only 2,167 attempts, the fewest attempts anyone has taken on the level to this day.

In June 2020, he would beat Conical Depression, Phobos, Hyper Paracosm, Infernal Abyss, and Titan Complex. He beat Hyper Paracosm in 3,449 attempts, the attempt world record at the time. He was still playing Zodiac but was struggling to complete it. On 1 July 2020, he beat Down Bass, and on 6 July 2020, he beat Sigma Interface.

On 12 July 2020, Wolvez's biggest accomplishment yet would come. He completed Zodiac in 22,000 attempts. When he beat it, it had lowered one position since he got 96%, now sitting at #3 on the Demonlist. However, that does not undermine the huge achievement in any capacity. One day later, on 13 July 2020, he would beat xo. Also, in July, he would complete Yatagarasu, Zaphkiel, and Generic Wave.

In August 2020, he would beat Quantum Processing on the 1st, Delta Interface on the 6th, Athanatos on the 8th, Devil Vortex on the 11th, Ithacropolis on the 16th, and Tapwreck on the 20th. The proximity of these completions shows his skill at the game, beating Extreme Demons just days or hours apart. Unfortunately, on 30 August 2020, he would die at 98% on Bloodlust, failing to make it over the triple spike at the end of the level.

He would continue playing Bloodlust, but like Zodiac, he struggled to beat the level after getting such a devastating fail. On 8 September 2020, he would beat Step To Hell. On 28 September 2020, he finally finished Bloodlust, beating it after 9,237 attempts. It would be his third-hardest Demon completed at the time, sitting at #12 on the Demonlist when he completed it. Once again showing his insane skill at the game, he beat Arctic Lights a day later and Carnage Mode a day after he beat Arctic Lights.

On 12 October 2020, he would top Bloodlust as his third hardest completion after he beat Crimson Planet, which sat at #5 on the Demonlist. Later in October, he beat Carcano on the 17th, Catalyze on the 23rd, and Gunslinga Corridor and Stalemate Redux both on the 26th.

On 1 November 2020, he died at 93% on Bloodbath three times, a level he made, which, as the name suggests, is Bloodbath three times in a row. It is equivalent to beating it twice, then getting 81% afterwards. In the video description, he said he got bored with The Golden. Once again showing his skill at the game, as his break from an Extreme Demon is another Extreme Demon three times in a row. On 12 November 2020, he beat Photovoltaic II.

On 3 December 2020, he beat The Golden in 20,112 attempts. It was the #2 hardest Demon when he completed it, at this point, having beaten three of the Top 5 hardest Extreme Demons in the game. One day later, he would beat Hyper Paradox. On 6 December 2020, he beat Surge of the Shield, and on 8 December 2020, he beat Paroxysm.

To round off 2020, he would beat Thinking Space in 16,667 attempts after dying above 90% 14 times, including a death at 98%, the final jump of the level. It was ranked #9 when he beat it, making it his fourth-hardest Demon. He also beat Blade of Justice on 31 December 2020, truly finishing off his incredibly successful year as a player. By the end of the year, he had completed five Top 10 Extreme Demons, including four out of the Top 5.

As the new year rolled in, he set his sights on finishing off the Top 5. Within the first week of 2021, he already completed two Extreme Demons. Them being Bass Cave and Biohazard. Throughout the rest of January, his main focus would be Tartarus, the hardest Demon in the game. He would make steady progress, getting 72%, 73%, 78%, and 82%. He would continue his pursuit of Tartarus. On 16 January 2021, he beat Digital Descent. One day later, he beat Balengu Vortex, and on 21 January 2021, he beat Bausha Vortex. Three days later, on 24 January 2021, he beat five Extreme Demons on the same day. He completed The Flawless, Acu, Cataclysm, Audio Extraction, and Thanatophobia. Some of these he had beaten before and never uploaded completions of, and some were his first time beating them.

On 5 February 2021, Wolvez completed Tartarus, the hardest Extreme Demon in the game. This completion was a huge achievement for several reasons. One of them, quite obviously, is that he beat the hardest Extreme Demon. The second is that his victory over Tartarus meant he had completed the Top 5 hardest Demons in the game, something which only three other players have done with the Top 5 at the time, being nSwish, Mycrafted, and Sid125. The third reason this was one of the biggest achievements was that he beat it with his worst fail being 82%, therefore having the biggest fluke on the level, and also having beaten it in 29,466 attempts, the fewest anyone has taken to beat the level.

Following Tartarus, he would beat Aquatic Auroras on 14 February 2021, Furious Flames a day later on 15 February 2021, Timor on 21 February 2021, and Sunset Sandstorm on 23 February 2021. On 1 March 2021, he beat Glowy, and on 8 March 2021, he completed Artificial Ascent.

Wolvez would later become the set verifier of Acheron, Riot's Tartarus-inspired level that is also set to be the hardest level in the game. Wolvez made progress on 4 November 2021, with 38% and 33%-68%.[7] He would later get progress of 66%,[8] 85%,[9] and 92%[10] on a buffed version of the level. Wolvez ended up getting 96% on 10 April 2022,[11] before completely dropping the level for good due to his worsening health condition caused by anaemia.[12] As a result, the level then became an open verification and eventually got verified by Zoink on 23 August 2022,[13] with a tied worst fail of 96%[14] on a slightly buffed version.
